We had a beautiful Easter Sunday service on April 9th. Many new faces and familiar faces were in attendance that day.

Many people filling the pews to attend our Easter service on Sunday morning.
May 18th was our tea and bazaar. We had a lovely selection of baked goods, jewelry and other odds and ends. There were volunteer servers downstairs who happily served sandwiches and drinks to patrons.

St. Mary’s church in Powassan kindly hosted a corn boil by St. John’s. Parishioners from both churches were both in attendance to help raise money for church operations.
Corn Boil
It was a group effort from both churches to prepare all the food and refreshments for the corn boil. Here are some of the people from St. John’s that came to help out.
In addition to the corn, there was also plenty of hot dogs to go around.
